While hype can boost initial figures, it’s the quality of the content that ultimately drives long-term success. In fact, excessive hype can sometimes backfire if the film doesn’t meet expectations. For instance, the hype surrounding Rajinikanth’s film Kabali was unprecedented, surpassing even the buzz around Baahubali 1, yet it didn’t translate into sustained success.
